Consistently great coffee and genuinely friendly staff. There’s an influx of third wave cafes in Vienna right now (and most are unfortunately over-priced and/or mediocre) but Fokus but stands out as a place that actually cares about what they do. The only downside is limited seating during winter, but coffee wise it’s a 10/10 and the vibe is great.

Cafe Fokus has everything you would expect in a *perfect* specialty/third wave coffee shop. The atmosphere is spot on with vines growing along the brick fascade and windows, while they also make thoughtful use of the space with a clever 2nd floor directly above the serving area that is dimly lit, inviting in the light from the outside. Speakers placed above the doors play smooth & groovy jazz music, and the baristas are some of the friendliest I've seen. I ordered a double espresso and an espresso tonic, while my wife had a flat white. All of them were excellent which served as no suprise to me. If you're looking around for shops to visit, put this at the very top of your list; you'll be glad you did.

Just amazing specialty coffee place! Cold brew tonic got my heart ❤️ v60 was greatly made and of course such wonderfull people running this place. Highly reccomend for lovers of third wave. Inside and outside sitting both very cozy and nice. Its quiet and chill, the stuff is very dedicated. Amazing to spent some time outside in the shade with nice refreshing wind. Very nice place to chill and have a good time. We just found this place on Google maps, and I am so happy this was the first place to try coffee in Vienna.

Had a 10/10 experience. Really friendly staff serving very tasty espresso (roasted by Nomad - Barcelona). Also there selection of pastries is outstanding. Very cute vibe inside but also great spot to take-away for that beautiful walk around Augarten. Will be back as often as I can

My boyfriend and I have been going to this cafe almost since it opened and we go back every time we're in Vienna. Service 10/10, coffee 11/10, sweet pastries 10/10. I can't praise the cafe enough and it's a place that you won't really get tired of.

A cozy and chill place with a super cool and friendly vibe. The service was amazing, same as the coffee (probably the best coffee we had in Vienna, I’d dare to say) and the pastries were just spectacular. The guys made communication so much easier for us since our English is pretty bad and we’re native Spanish speakers. They were incredibly thoughtful and we’re really thankful for that. We’d definitely come back without a doubt — a special spot with really good vibes, perfect for coffee lovers or just for anyone wanting to relax and disconnect for a while. 🤎☕️

very good chai! Not the ones taste like you’re making chai at home with syrups. They have really good tastes. I like their jazz music selection as well:) A cozy small place

The coffee here is delicious! The latte tastes like a little piece of cake, very smooth and creamy. The owners are super friendly, and the shop’s decoration is just adorable✨

Charming little place with a cool owner. Great interiors. The vibe and music are great. I’ll be honest: the pastry was dry, the filling wasn't really enough, but the coffee was good.

Café Fokus offers the concept of a coffee shop taken to perfection. It has every essential you need: coffee, tea, some variety drinks and an offering of pastries, all complimenting each other nicely. The coffee itself is among the best in Vienna, with the skillful baristas using great equipment to extract the bold flavors of the expertly selected beans. The atmosphere of this shop comes right out of early depictions of cafes: a small but cozy space comprised of red brick walls contrasted by pastel accents and natural wood furniture. This vibe really driven home by the smooth melodies of jazz, funk and bossa nova that often play from the high quality speakers, complimenting the environment and never drowning out the conversation, or your thoughts. I can't think of a better place in Vienna to grab a cup of coffee and have a short focused work session, or relax and let the outside world fade away as you enjoy the moment and take life in with each delightful sip.
